Google I/O is Google’s Developer Conference Held Annually

Introduction:- Google I/O is Google’s developer conference held annually in San Francisco, Califormia. The first Google I/O conference took place in 2008. Google I/O features highly technical, in-depth sessions focused on building web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open web technologies such as Android, Chrome, Chrome OS, Google APIs, Google Web Toolkit, App Engine, and more.
The “I” and “O” stand for input/output, and “Innovation in the Open”. The format of the event is similar to that of the Google Developer Day.The conference also provides hands-on labs, where attendees can test what they’ve learned and get help from experts. In addition, there is a showcase for applications developed on Google platforms.

Target:- The conference sessions and labs target the developer audience, the Google I/O keynote often has a broader appeal. The company has used the event in the past to announce major new products and services, including the Google Music streaming service and new versions of the Android operating system.

UpComing Conference in 2015:- This is the month of Google I/O, with the event set to take place from the 27th to the 29th May.Google today released its schedule for this year’s Google I/O conference.

Even, we now know for sure that the company will be previewing the next version of Android at the event: Android M.

Android M— It looks like Android M, the next version of Android, will be at the show. One sandbox session is called “Android for Work Update” and says, Android M is bringing the power of Android to all kinds of workplaces. This opens huge new markets for hundreds of millions of devices to workers at small business, deskless workers, logistics and warehousing jobs; all be empowered by adoption of Android devices at Work ” While full Android releases have alphabetical snack code names, “Android L” launched last year at Google I/O, and the release was a developer preview for what would eventually become Lollipop. So it sounds like Android [letter] is a new pattern that indicates a dev preview.
