The company calls the CarPad 5 an all-in-one GPS navigator, smartphone and 3G tablet. The Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread CarPad 5 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S1 processor based on the MSM7227-1 chipset, and features built-in 3G, Bluetooth, GPS / aGPS, and Wi-Fi connectivity. It has a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen, with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, and everything is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery.
On the navigation front, the CarPad comes with the latest version of MapMyIndia’s ‘Navigator Aura’ interface, which features turn-by-turn voice navigation with 3D maps of streets, landmarks, buildings, terrain, down till house-level detail. it has introduced a device that stands out in a variety of product categories, from tablets, and to in-car infotainment and navigation devices connectivity for voice calls .
